Hundreds of toilets line our block of Hollywood Boulevard, apparently awaiting some sort of plumbing fixture Pride parade.
Not to go all Sheryl Crow on you, but...Sunset over Santa Monica Boulevard.
Missing the Seventies? Visit the historic Wall O' Sleaze at the Arclight Cinema.
The Manhattan Beach pier would now like to do its impression of the Miss Saigon logo...
UPDATE: Speaking of pictures, Stacia has posted The Monster and the Ape #2: Bringing a Monkey to a Knife Fight over at She Blogged By Night.

This seems so familiar...like it was posted a year ago or so....
I'm loving the pictures. I guess I'm picturesque!

Carl: Well it IS October, and while "spooky" would be a little premature, it's never too early for "eerie." But yes, some of these pics did make their debut on Facebook.
Thunder, if your blog is anything to go by, I'd say yes, you're highly photogenetic.
I have to take exception to calling the film, "Coffy" anything like "sleaze," though, even though all of the other loverly pictures are perfect and perfectly titled.
Anything with Pam Grier in it, INCLUDING the clusterfuckus incredulous known as "Scream, Blsckula, Scream!" can't be called mere SLEAZE. Sexist? Quite often. But then Pam kicks their asses, so it's dealable. Bass-ackwards? Well, that's why they call it "blacksploitation." Lacking sensible dialogue or logical narratives? Well, DUH. Abusive of women? BEYOND.
But mere "sleaze"? No, no, nope. Scuzzy, maybe. But scuzzy that's TRYING to be something MORE.
I'm sure that any number of Crapper scholars could put it infinitely-better than I have here (blame it on the hair-color-remover chemicals), but I trust that y'all get the general gist.
But I am truly impressed by your artistic eye and jealous of these photos, Scott.
Scott provides us with searing political commentary AND deja vu. ARE WE NOT ENTERTAINED?
I forgot, I'm sarcastic so often that no one recognizes when I'm being genuine, so let me just state right now that I am completely entertained, especially with the wall, which has triggered a "got it-get it" game in my head. And any time I see Destroy All Monsters it makes me say everything in all caps, appropriate or not.
Well hell, Stacia, don't just leave us hanging like that!
C'mon, OUT WITH IT!
Very nice one at the BevMo!
And, Fixture Pride was in my 'hood almost four yrs. ago.
(I wonder what happens to the tank covers.)
