To Doctor Who It May Concern

Scott and Jeff return from their Strange Interlude, and are joined by Mrs. C. for this quick mini-sode about the current season of Doctor Who. And guess what?

You'll never guess.

Okay, I'll tell you.

Scott's a little grumpy.

And here's a link to the Mike and Ike video mentioned on the show.

I'm with Mrs. C on the Doctor losing her Tardis. I'm like ... what? Again? :)

Even so, on the old show, the Doctor occasionally mislaid his Tardis. Or had it stolen, as I recall.

FWIW, I like Graham. I'm getting to like Ryan. I wish Yaz would quit being so girly. But otherwise, she's okay.

And I love the Doctor. But Jodie deserves better scripts.

That episode with the corporation that so wasn't Amazon (ha ha)? Since when does the Doctor have robot friends? The Daleks? The Cybermen? :)

I could go on, but I won't. :)

You're right, Scott was very Grumpy.

I really liked both Rosa and the next one. I didn't really care about Rosa's accent, but then, I am not in the moving pictures business, so what do I know?

The character arcs coming up for the Companions really do round the characters out.

But now I am saying "WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCKING FUCK?!?!?? We're on the last episode already?"

And I am going to bet a long shot here, that Graham doesn't last until next season. I see all the signs that he is the heart-string sacrifice for this season.

I’m with you, ZRM. I called Graham’s death in our first 13th Doctor segment (the VENOM episide) and I’ve seen nothing so far to dissuade me. Granted we’re only 5 shows into the season, but I’m sticking with it)

Also, Debbi, if you haven't watched "Demons of the Punjab" yet, you may be pleasantly surprised on how it rounds out Yaz' character. One of my favorite episodes of the season....

OK, good Scott. I will not have to eat your branes. THIS time.

But for as much as I, like you guys, enjoy the ensemble setup, it is becoming more and more unwieldy, as evidenced by "It Takes You Away" no spoilers, but after you watch see if you don't agree. (It might have been more effective as a continued episode, rather than a single)

But also borne out by prior seasons. I remember Rory's da, Brian, who I loved, but was cut out early on. Rarely have more than 2 Companions held on, and even Rory had to be tossed into the void for a few thousand years as a plastic Roman guardian.

- I hope I am not spoiling stuff for people, but please, this is all old news.-

So I think the ensemble is going to be disrupted. I will also not be surprised if it takes out 2 of the 3, but I do not expect it.....

I've seen all the episodes. "Demons of the Punjab" was good.

But the new Doctor Who has morphed into a show quite different from the one I originally fell in love with in the 90s, when my local public TV channel showed the old re-reruns. Not that change is a bad thing, but ... well ... I don't know.

Please bring back a Dalek or something! :)

I am completely certain the Daleks will show up.
